Great photos & write up. I'd taken my wife on this train from Vancouver to Seattle on our honeymoon in 1995. At that time, Seattle King St station still had the false ceiling in place (faux modernism) that looked dreadful. Great to see it restored to its original condition.

Do you happen to know if, when the new Airo trainsets come online, will the Cascades operate with a locomotive on each end? Just curious.
Airo uses Siemens Venture trainsets that come with a Siemens Charger locomotive on one side and a cab control car on the other side.
